When dirt gets trapped in the pores and stick to this ball then black heads are formed otherwise it forms white heads.

What is Bleach ? Why use a bleach? What are the benefits of using bleach?

There are six main types of skin based on the skin colour; Type I, Type II, Type III, Type IV, Type V, Type VI. Indians generally fall in the Type III to Type V category. The colour difference is due to race, climate, exposure to UV light and percentage of melanin formation. The Skin Colour is due to 3 factors:

  • Dermal and Epidermal Cells- Yellowish white

  • Superficial blood vessels- Red to blue tone

  • Pigments-  Melanin- Brown to black colour

Melanin is responsible for racial colour difference. The skin darkening takes place due to increased melanin content in skin.
Bleach is used to give long lasting fairness to the skin by chemically reacting with melanin. Bleach reduces the already present melanin and inhibits further production of melanin.
Benefits of bleach:

  • Reduces the already present melanin

  • Smoothens the skin

  • Exfoliates the upper dead epidermal layer

  • Gives glow on the skin
